We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Distribution Sales Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights and deep analytical expertise to support our sales team by delivering actionable leads and insights. You will be responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to enhance sales performance across various distribution channels. Additionally, you will ensure that all stakeholders are informed and equipped with the insights they need to drive success.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Regional and National Account sales leaders, the Advanced Analytics team, as well as other business units to develop data-driven insights that support growth initiatives. This position requires proficiency in data management and analysis, as well as the ability to communicate complex insights effectively. Success in this role depends on your ability to streamline processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously enhance the impact of our sales strategies through innovative data analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

Individual Accountabilities:

  • Visualizations: Create and maintain dynamic dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to provide insightful visualizations for the sales team.

  • SQL Proficiency: Write and execute efficient and complex SQL queries to extract and analyze relevant sales data.

  • Data Insights: Translate complex data analysis into clear and concise explanations for management and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Data Modeling: Develop a comprehensive understanding of data structures that represent our distribution selling model.

  • Big Picture Thinking: Maintain a high-level perspective on how data analysis aligns with and supports the strategic initiatives of the sales organization.

  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate insights and findings efficiently and effectively to ensure alignment and understanding across teams

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data-driven insights for enhancing sales performance and strategy.

Key Shared Accountabilities:

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Advanced Analytics, Sales Management, Product, and Finance to ensure our work and insights are aligned with overall business goals and strategies.

  • Training and Support: Engage in proactive outreach to members of our sales team and key stakeholders to ensure continued use and adoption of analytics and reporting tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data analysis.

  • Proven experience in developing insights and identifying patterns from complex data sets.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI and/or Tableau a plus.)

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate data insights effectively across different levels of an organization.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data science or AI modeling a plus.

  • Power BI data modeling and visualization expertise.

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,550.00 USD - $119,250.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
