Instructional Designer

The opportunity
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective digital, instructional materials from various reference materials (PowerPoint Decks, manuals, process documents, etc.). You will be collaborating with business unit POCs, subject-matter experts, and other members of the cross-functional team to deliver high-quality learning materials that are compliant with the requirements and company branding guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs
- Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
- Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
- Maintain project documentation and course folders

What we are looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in training content development, specifically e-Learning development
- Graphic design skills to create engaging content, while ensuring compliance to the company's branding guidelines and design standards
- Proficiency in commonly used content, Authoring tools, particularly Articulate 360 Suite and/or Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency in asset-building tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Camtasia, etc.
- Excellent business communication and documentation skills
