Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead HR compliance and risk management initiatives that safeguard our organization’s integrity and protect personal information. In this role, you will partner with HR teams and project stakeholders to strengthen risk controls, ensure privacy compliance, and maintain robust business continuity plans. You’ll gain exposure to enterprise risk frameworks and play a critical role in shaping HR’s compliance strategy while contributing to a culture of accountability and resilience.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate completion of new and updates to existing Risk and Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA) for HR processes.

  • Collaborate with HR teams and process owners to ensure accurate documentation of risks, controls, and corrective actions.

  • Work with project teams to complete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for initiatives impacting personal information.

  • Complete Material Change Triage templates and maintain inventory and metrics related to the Change Standard.

  • Ensure HR business continuity plans are compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records and provide reporting on compliance metrics and risk mitigation progress.

  • Support the execution of the HR RCSA methodology by coordinating and documenting key control walk‑throughs, facilitating independent testing where required, and supporting the maintenance of evidence of control design and effectiveness

  • Provide support for the PeopleComms teams and global compliance and risk management programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or HR governance.

  • Experience facilitating RCSA and privacy impact assessments.

  • Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio) and risk systems (e.g., Archer).

  • Experience in change management and business continuity planning.

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD
