Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Job Duties:
- Create customer experiences that redefines expectations of cloud consumers in various business units of a financial services organization. Duties include:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and ensure Azure product portfolio remains innovative;
- Gather and define product requirements and ensure alignment with customer needs, industry standards and Azure cloud technology capabilities;
- Responsible for product roadmap, backlog and feature prioritization processes using Agile Project Methodology and SaFE Agile framework;
- Define product strategies to identify opportunities for biggest consumer impact and assist end customers with achieving success with cloud adoption and framework;
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop, build, test, debug and implement product features;
- Drive decision making using customer insights, Agile methods to validate hypothesis, quantitative analysis, beta testing and A/B testing;
- Establish process for managing technical debt focusing on application decommissioning and end user-technology costs;
- Execute Total Cost of Ownership analysis and help span areas of opportunities such as billing, app decommissions, and workstation decommissions;
- Responsible for end-to-end implementation and adoption of native cloud cost management and monitoring tools built on technologies such as ELK, Grafana, Power BI, or similar platforms;
- Assist with Reserved Instances/Bring Your Own License pricing scenarios and sensitivity analysis, and build in-house resource optimization and allocation recommendation tool to provide insights into cost observability for driving cost savings across organization;
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide comprehensive view of tech-cloud investments through delivering thorough analysis, reporting and presentations to clearly articulate strategic value of Return On Investment for company’s cloud initiatives and expenses;
- Apply specialized product or technical expertise to serve internal business units requiring consultation on various Microsoft Azure services such as infrastructure migrations, consolidations, transformations or optimizations;
- Support internal customers as cloud virtual infrastructure concepts expert for cloud service platform, Development Operations, Financial Operations (FinOps) practices, resource utilization, cloud service cost and analytics space;
- Deliver scalable, compliant, secure, enterprise-grade data and analytics platform with robust data quality, governance, discovery, and visualization capabilities;
- Use technical expertise in SQL and Python to provide quick analytical ad-hoc and customized reporting solution on cloud infrastructure consumption;
- Deliver cloud cost and consumption forecasting tools using PowerBI and machine learning modeling techniques that identify usage patterns, trends, and seasonality in cloud consumption for all applications in Azure cloud;
- Analyze annual consumption of cloud engineering services across segments to prepare fiscal consumption requirements for software renewals and pricing proposals;
- Develop annual KPI catalog comprised of Objectives and Key Results, Key Deliverables, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definitions, calculations, annual target and quarterly milestones for measuring performance of various cloud initiatives, causation of KPI movements, and continuous improvements to meet targets;
- Coordinate ongoing post-implementation service, support and maintenance to business areas including investigating operational related problems/inquiries, and recommending and implementing solutions; and
- Conduct process gap analysis in operations to analyze qualitative and quantitative process performance and identify process improvement opportunities.
Position can be located anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Business Analytics, Project Management or related field and 3 years of product management or business analysis experience within cloud space for financial services organization. Experience may be gained before, during or after Master’s degree. In the alternative, employer will also accept Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Business Analytics, Project Management or related field and 5 years of product management or business analysis experience within cloud space for financial services organization.
Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
1) 3 years of experience with cloud platform or financial aspects of cloud usage in a large-scale financial Services space.
2) 3 years of experience with cloud cost management practices and tools including resource tagging, pricing calculator, cost allocation, budgeting, and cost optimization techniques.
3) 3 years of experience ensuring qualitative and quantitative business impact of Virtual Infrastructure (Infrastructure as a service) and adoption of Azure cloud features/solutions by internal customers.
4) 3 years of experience with data science and machine learning technologies, and predictive and statistical modeling using business intelligent and analytics tools including SQL, Python, R, Grafana, or PowerBI.
5) 2 years of experience using financial and accounting principles and account processes including budgeting, accruals, procurement, pricing, and chargeback.
6) 3 years of experience performing statistical modeling using R to analyze cloud spend patterns for different business units.
7) 3 years of experience automating chargeback reporting for cost and consumption of internal business units using Chef, Centrify, ELK, Densify, Hashicorp, Terraform, MongoDB, APIM, Github, Snyk, and Jenkens.
8) 3 years of experience developing best pricing proposals using sensitivity analysis, tornedo charts, scenarios, break-even analysis, optimization tools, classification, forecasting models (Qualitative, Casual, Time Series models), allocation, network models or Monte Carlo simulation.

Salary range is expected to be between
$107,450.00 USD - $199,550.00 USDEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
