Reporting to the Marketing Director, Private Markets, this role is integral to the ongoing development and management of integrated marketing and communication initiatives to support Manulife Investment Management's institutional marketing activity globally.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the timely execution of comprehensive and integrated marketing programs across both digital and owned, paid and earned media.
Strong project management and the ability to manage multiple collaborators is a must, alongside a solid understanding of digital marketing techniques. You will be working under the direction of multiple marketing leaders. You will have exposure across many divisions and levels of the organization, and accordingly, must be comfortable dealing with a wide cross section of personalities including internal clients, current and prospective external clients, and senior executives.
Position Responsibilities
Support the development and delivery of our global marketing campaigns, incorporating paid, earned, and owned media, working with multiple stakeholders, providing tracking and reporting results.
Support the development of investment and sustainability content, managing multiple stakeholders with tight timelines and deliverables.
Support sales enablement – including building out a new marketing content plan and executing on deliverables with Sales input.
Support marketing deliverables for multiple tier 1 events and meetings.
Report on engagement and evaluate volume and quality of traffic; ensure lead generation is captured and actionable.
Administrative tasks such as coordinating and roll out website and SharePoint Online updates as required.
Required Qualifications
University or college degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism/media.
4– 6 years’ work experience in a marketing function, or in a related field.
Experience within investment management, specifically private markets is useful but not essential.
Excellent communications skills with strong ability to create, compose and edit written materials that are impactful and compelling.
Results oriented with strong project management skills and proven ability to develop, recommend, and implement marketing and communications plans and strategies to meet business objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and build consensus effectively, and to collaborate with senior executives.
Knowledge of marketing communications principles for both digital and print mediums.
Strong design understanding with the ability to provide direction to internal design resources and/or external designers for the design and execution of marketing materials.
Hands-on and proactive, able to work with minimal supervision.
High level of creativity combined with strong business sense to deliver dynamic and effective messages and solutions.

Salary range is expected to be between
$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CADEmployees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
