As a Data Engineer Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience building and supporting the data systems that power business insights and decision-making. You’ll work with modern data tools and platforms to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows, helping transform raw data into meaningful, actionable information. We are currently looking for a highly motivated student to join us in our Boston, Massachusetts, USA office for a summer internship, running from June 1st – August 12th 2027. This is a hybrid position, where you are expected to be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Position Responsibilities:
Contribute to a team of data engineers focused on building reliable, scalable data systems
Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows
Assist with data ingestion, transformation, and preparation for reporting and analytics use cases
Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements and support solutions
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java)
Interest in data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and data processing
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, or similar technologies)
Basic understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, or data warehousing
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Understanding of large-scale data processing concepts

Please note the salary range is expected to be between $52,650 USD to $70,200 USD.
The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. The annual salary will be pro-rated based on the length of the work-term
