This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, conducting operational research, and turning data into strategic insights that support decision-making and process improvement. You will work cross-functionally to analyze how work gets done, identify opportunities for change, and help drive alignment across legal functions.

This is a high-impact role with opportunities to grow your analytical skillset, deepen your understanding of global legal and compliance functions, and contribute to initiatives that improve business outcomes in a highly regulated environment.

The compensation for this role is based on experience and geographical location of the candidate.

This position may have in-office requirement depending on candidate location.

Typical starting salary is $95,000-$125,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced operational and consultative support to analyze business operations and function-specific processes (e.g., legal, compliance, risk).
  • Identify business processes for review, conducting current state assessments and opportunity analyses.
  • Perform complex data research by gathering data from a variety of sources, including operational metrics, competitor benchmarks, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Conduct descriptive analytics to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and actionable insights.
  • Build business cases for changes to current practices, programs, or procedures, including cost/benefit and feasibility assessments.
  • Partner with stakeholders on the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of business process changes.
  • Lead implementation and evaluation of process improvements or portions of larger initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL Management Studio.
  • Own report development for standard and ad hoc reporting needs, supporting visibility into operational performance and strategic priorities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders through clear, compelling presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Respond to data-related inquiries, applying knowledge of business operations and data sources.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced analysts and contractors, contributing to a collaborative and learning-focused team culture.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL Management Studio, Python, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with descriptive analytics, business case development, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of analytical experience
