Assistant Director of Analytics, Strategy and Alignment

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and analytically driven professional to join our Global Legal and Compliance, Strategy and Alignment team as an Assistant Director of Analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead initiatives that transform complex legal data into actionable insights, enabling senior leadership to make informed decisions and drive alignment across functions.

The compensation for this role will depend on experience and geographical location.

Typical starting salary is $123,000-$153,500

This position may have in-office requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics initiatives that support strategic planning and operational alignment across global legal and compliance functions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Excel to provide clarity on performance metrics, risk indicators, and strategic priorities.
  • Leverage SQL Management Studio and Python to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
  • Develop analyses based on complex data for the legal and compliance business unit, quantifying performance and evaluating operational changes.
  • Design new approaches and methodologies to solve business problems and improve analytical efficiency.
  • Produce meaningful observations and recommendations by synthesizing data from internal and external sources.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques adapting them to evolving business needs.
  • Present findings and lead discussions with senior leadership at the department or functional level.
  • Mentor and serve as a resource to less experienced analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Act a strategic partner to management.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL Management Studio, Python, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, think strategically, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations in presentation format.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of analytical experience
