Join USRM Data Office’s Operational Data and Reporting Team as a Senior Data Solutions Analyst!
In this dynamic business intelligence role, you'll play a critical part in supporting the Claims organization, working across multiple lines of business. You will leverage the latest business intelligence platforms to build impactful reports that enhance data accessibility and transparency for our stakeholders. You will also collaborate with various teams to create innovative data solutions, driving transformation and redefining the future of data and reporting at Liberty Mutual.
Ideal experience will include:
- 3-5+ years’ experience with top quadrant Business Intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and skills in coding languages and business intelligence tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, R, Power BI) and interest in expanding knowledge in this space.
- Must possess strong analytical, strategic, project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Able to describe value and support the prioritization of data solutions.
- Ability to gather and synthesize customer pain points and drive cross functional solutions
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust business intelligence solutions to meet the needs of our business partners, ensuring scalability and adaptability for future growth.
- Work independently on or lead medium- to high-complexity projects, prototyping and developing BI solutions that address organizational and customer needs.
- Design and develop reporting solutions that enable effective self-service data access, clearly communicating their value to stakeholders.
- Design proof-of-concept reporting solutions using an advanced understanding of multiple coding languages, ensuring that technical and business requirements are met through iterative solution testing.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor within the team, offering assistance and guidance to junior team members in developing reporting skills.
- Influence strategic thinking within the team and across the broader organization by identifying and applying best practices, ensuring that iterative testing meets all requirements.
- Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, managing expectations for deliverables of high complexity and impact.
- Assist in creating roadmaps for reporting solutions, transforming vague ideas or challenges into actionable BI projects.
Qualifications
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Bachelor`s Degree or related discipline preferred
- 3-5 years experience in coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments, including, but not limited to, working in NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell), and the Hadoop stack

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
