Description
As the Director II/Senior Director - Enterprise AI/ML Technology Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers driving Liberty Mutual’s next-generation AI/ML infrastructure. Your products empower hundreds of data scientists and engineers to efficiently build, train, and deploy advanced models that deliver measurable business value across the enterprise.
The Enterprise Data & Data Science (ED&DS) Product team was established to provide centralized product support and expertise to data science teams across our global organization. We focus on developing best-in-class AI/ML technologies, driving convergence on how AI/ML is executed at Liberty Mutual and support enterprise AI programs. Key Responsibilities
- Set Vision & Strategy: Define and evolve the enterprise AI/ML technology strategy, aligning it with business objectives and emerging industry trends.
- Product Leadership: Guide the creation and delivery of infrastructure, tooling, and platforms that enable scalable, secure, and efficient AI/ML model development and deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and technology leaders to translate enterprise needs into actionable product roadmaps.
- Portfolio Management: Lead prioritization and trade-off decisions across multiple product areas, ensuring resource alignment and delivery against strategic objectives.
- Metrics & Impact: Establish KPIs to measure product adoption, performance, and business impact using insights to guide continuous improvement.
- People Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product managers.

- Deep AI/ML Understanding: Strong grasp of MLOps, LLMOps, data science infrastructure, and the organizational challenges of scaling AI/ML solutions.

Qualifications
- Director II-Bachelor`s degree in quantitative field with 10+ years of related experience within data/data science science or technology product management
- Senior Director-Bachelor`s degree in quantitative field with 15+ years of related experience within data/data science or technology product management
- Prior experience effectively managing large teams
- Master`s degree preferred
- Management experience preferred

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
