Description

At Liberty, our Personal Lines Auto Product team partners across the company to build and roll out auto insurance solutions that keep pace with what customers and agents need. We focus exclusively on auto, bringing deep expertise, data and analytics to deliver strong state-by-state results while modernizing how we price policies and the technology that supports them. Organized around four core areas—Delivery & Development, Underwriting Effectiveness, State Management, and Mobility Solutions, we work collaboratively to live our purpose: helping people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow.

The US Retail Markets Personal Lines Auto Development and Delivery team is looking for a Director, Product Analysis, to lead our Auto Product Prioritization process.

This position will work with stakeholders in Product/IT/Experience to triage, develop and refine requirements for business/IT prioritization. Work to maintain a robust prioritization process that accurately reflects tradeoffs, costs, and benefits. Lead cross functional discussions on resourcing and decision making as it relates to projects decisions and scoping. Serves as subject matter expert for the implementation/scoping process of new products or CW initiatives. Identifies product line opportunities for improvement, makes actionable recommendations and executes on those recommendations. Routinely present to senior leaders on status, tradeoffs and results of our prioritization processes and implementations. Serve as the Product representative for IT and Experience conversations around quarterly and yearly planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns and maintains our Auto Prioritization process
  • Work with project sponsors to refine requirements
  • Works cross functionally with partners in Auto Development and Delivery, State Management and USDS to lead our decision-making process for resource allocations
  • Works with partners to create and track metrics to monitor our efficiency and decision making
  • Presents to senior leaders our product prioritization results and product roadmaps

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field
  • Minimum 7, typically 10 years or more of relevant work experience
  • Master's degree and/or ACAS or similar designation beneficial
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (eg, SAS, Access)
  • Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
  • Experience managing projects preferred
