Description
- Ensure oversight of delivery and program management of large size programs that span across multiple platforms through creation of mechanisms to effectively report out and control execution.
- Oversee programs that have transformational business value across domains by leading the overall program plan, dependencies, and driving forward the outcomes of those programs.
- Manage delivery expectations with cross functional stakeholder group, including managing technology and business leaders and Segment Leadership expectations.
- Complete dependency mapping across multiple Domains and Portfolios, to ensure Program Increment objectives and plans are harmonized across all dependent teams and actively drive execution.
- Keeping programs moving forward while addressing any challenges or priority conflicts that may arise head-on with appropriate escalation to Sr. leadership as needed.
- Monitoring and communicating Software Program progress and metrics.
- Driving consensus and facilitation of decision making within impacted teams of a program.
- Leveraging experience in program management, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to drive successful program completion.
- Serve as a thought leader in Scaled Agile Delivery and Agile Maturity across the organization.
- Domestic travel required up to 25%.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Manager-related occupation.
Position also requires demonstrable experience in the following:
- Utilizing business operations, objectives and strategies.
- Utilizing agile methodology and demonstrated ability to mobilize multiple agile delivery teams across multiple domains towards a single mission.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a team environment consisting of several teams.
- Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills demonstrated through effective interactions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Driving and influencing major transformational program outcomes.
- Utilizing end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience integrating continuous integration, delivery, and automation.
- Proven ability to apply Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and Agile/Lean methodologies to streamline processes, boost team collaboration, and accelerate software delivery.
- Domestic travel required up to 25%.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 60%
