Description

The Manager-Benefits is responsible for the strategic design, governance, financial oversight, and operational execution of all employee benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and voluntary benefits. You will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to executive leadership, Finance and Benefits Committee, driving data-informed decisions and sustainable long-term benefits strategy, with ability to influence.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Reimagine and implement benefits strategies, balancing employee needs, business objectives, cost sustainability, and compliance.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of HR technologies, automation, and AI-enhanced tools to improve benefits accessibility, accuracy, and engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and People Operations to streamline processes, harmonize policies, and build scalable governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Program Design: Develop inclusive, competitive benefit programs for health, retirement, well-being, and ancillary offerings, leveraging data and employee insights to personalize and modernize plan design.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor regulatory changes, advising leadership on trends and innovative risk mitigation approaches.
  • Vendor Management: Drive innovation through strong partnerships, lead negotiations, and pilot advanced solutions to enhance program value and employee experience.
  • Financial Oversight: Optimize budgets and forecasting with predictive analytics, scenario planning, and dynamic reporting to ensure efficient resource allocation and identify savings opportunities.
  • Employee Engagement: Elevate engagement using tech-enabled communication, transparent benefits education, and feedback tools to refine offerings for diverse needs.
  • Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to executive leadership, Finance, and the Benefits Committee and International HR team, influencing data-informed decisions and sustainable long-term strategy.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in benefits leadership within multinational environments.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. and international benefits law, governance, and technology-enabled administration.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and program delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
