Description

Join an innovative, forward-thinking team that’s passionate about harnessing people, process, and technology to fuel the next wave of growth and transformation for the Global Risk Solution (GRS) business. As a Product Owner II, you operate as a strategic problem solver and trusted partner who delivers measurable business outcomes. Building on a foundation of strong backlog management and analytics, you will take ownership of complex products and initiatives often spanning multiple teams, systems, or business domains. You confidently navigate ambiguity, synthesizing input from business stakeholders, technical partners, and customer feedback to shape clear product direction. Rather than simply refining requirements, you uncover root problems and high value opportunities, make thoughtful tradeoffs across competing priorities, and ensure each increment of work contributes meaningfully to outcomes such as increased operational efficiency, improved customer experience, or stronger risk insights.

The Product Owner II represents the voice of the customer and the organization on the Agile team, defining and prioritizing features and stories to deliver business value. They deeply understand customer problems, ensure work is clearly defined and prioritized, and keep the squad focused on the highest-value work. The role requires continuous collaboration and communication with stakeholders and partners in Data Science, Technology, and business to align priorities and understand the supported technologies and systems. At this level, you also contribute more actively to product strategy shaping roadmaps, proposing innovative solutions (including use of AI and advanced analytics), and applying business and technical acumen to guide product evolution. Success as a Product Owner II is demonstrated through your ability to consistently deliver tangible business impact, elevate execution quality across teams, and operate with the autonomy and foresight that prepares you for senior level product leadership.

  • In partnership with User Experience, understands customer needs through exposure to research / discovery (quantitative & qualitative) and testing, & uses this to optimize experiences

  • Monitors and maintains the product health, proactively monitors impact of their product on others in the ecosystem; likewise, analyzes and reports on feasibility, cost of delay ramifications, economies, or other aspects of planned or potential changes to the product
  • Champions AI-driven pilots and production initiatives: partners closely with Data Science and Tech to define AI use cases (e.g., risk scoring, triage, anomaly detection), prioritize experiments, and translate model outputs into actionable underwriting workflows
