Description

The Service Analytics and Enablement team is seeking a Sr. Associate to join the Service Analytics team within the Claims and Service Insights and Solutions organization.

As an analyst within the Service Analytics team, you will support Liberty Mutual service centers by independently managing projects, working directly with stakeholders, and owning specific KPIs and metrics. You will partner with project managers, the business, and other analysts to drive improvements, analyze data using quantitative techniques to make actionable recommendations, and present findings to management and senior leadership.

Key Technical Skills

  • Data handling: collect, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources.
  • SQL & SAS: basic querying, joins, and data manipulation in relational databases and SAS.
  • Excel: strong proficiency with pivot tables and common formulas.
  • Analysis & reporting: descriptive/exploratory analysis and basic statistical methods; develop reports and proposals based on findings and present recommendations to supervisors, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Insights & decision support: deliver actionable recommendations that influence strategy (e.g., vendor outsourcing) and operational decisions (e.g., KPI improvement).
  • Process improvement & automation: compile and analyze information qualitatively and/or quantitatively, identify opportunities, and implement improvements to processes and tools to automate and scale impactful analyses.
  • Communication: produce reports/dashboards and explain results to non-technical stakeholders.

This is a remote position for candidates who reside within 50 miles of a hub office, will be required to go in office 2 days per week. Please note this policy is subject to change.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics or other quantitative field
  • Satisfactory completion of Development Program training
  • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
