Job Introduction:

The Market Strategy & Delivery (MSD) team serves as the strategic bridge between Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS) and Liberty Mutual’s business markets across 29 countries, ensuring cybersecurity strategy is translated into meaningful outcomes at the market level.

The Strategic Programs Office (SPO) drives the planning, coordination, and execution of MSD’s most critical cross-functional initiatives. It provides the operational backbone that ensures strategic priorities move from concept to delivery with discipline, visibility, and alignment across stakeholders.

The Director of the Strategic Programs Office leads this function, owning the rhythm of strategic execution for MSD. This leader ensures that programs are scoped, resourced, tracked, and communicated effectively — serving as the connective tissue between MSD leadership, BISOs, GCS security domains, and market stakeholders. The Director brings structure to complexity, turning strategic intent into measurable progress.

About the job:

  • Establish and manage MSD’s strategic program portfolio, ensuring alignment with GCS priorities and market needs.
  • Design and maintain the operating cadence for program governance, including stage-gate reviews, milestone tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with MSD leadership to translate vision and strategy into actionable program roadmaps.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across BISOs, GCS security domains, and market CIOs to remove barriers and accelerate delivery.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide leadership with clear line-of-sight into program health and risk.
  • Identify dependencies, resource conflicts, and competing priorities across the portfolio and facilitate resolution.
  • Develop and continuously improve program management standards, templates, and playbooks for MSD.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in relevant fields (business, computer science, etc.). Master`s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, operations and project management.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to work cross functionally at a fast pace environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic initiatives, influencing without authority across a wide range of groups.
  • Advanced initiative management skills–governance, influencing, problem solving, pace setting.
  • Excellent communication skills–written and verbal, utilizing the appropriate medium to align, influence, and drive clarity in ownership of key work.
  • Quantitative skills with the ability to define and measure success of key initiatives against overall goals.
