Description

Hiring Manager: Annalise Veno

The Sr. Project Manager partners with the Sr. Director of IT to drive organizational consistency, operating maturity, and clarity in executive communications across the organization. As a senior individual contributor, this role acts as an integrator and execution partner who ensures strategic priorities are operationalized, special initiatives are delivered with rigor, and information flows seamlessly from leadership to teams and stakeholders. The role is a key force in supporting large, ambiguous efforts from inception through operationalization, driving forward critical organization-level objectives, and enabling effective status reporting and transparency at the executive level.

Key Areas of Focus

  1. Executive Roadmap, Status, Reporting
    1. Own the preparation of high-impact executive communications, including strategic updates, roadmap summaries, organizational changes, and monthly/quarterly leadership briefings.
    2. Synthesize complex inputs from multiple sources into clear, actionable executive status reports and dashboards (across budget, security, progress against objectives, risks, etc.).
    3. Ensure a consistent, credible narrative for organizational messaging and proactive stakeholder management.
  1. Operating Model & Process Maturation
    1. Assess, define, and enhance core operating models—particularly where new initiatives require alignment with existing rhythms.
    2. Standardize and operationalize high-value processes.
    3. Establish and manage the organizational cadence for key operating cycles (business reviews, planning, retrospectives, leadership forums), ensuring adaptability as organizational needs evolve.
  1. Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
    1. Serve as the organizational “first responder” to new, large-scale efforts or ad-hoc initiatives that cross departmental boundaries and require operationalization.
    2. Rapidly assess, scope, and create a structure for new work—corral stakeholders, clarify objectives, drive alignment, and oversee execution to transition these efforts into ongoing operations.
    3. Act as the “air traffic controller” for initiatives requiring central coordination (tooling, process automation, cross-org pilots, etc.).
  1. Executive-Level Reporting & Decision Support
    1. Lead executive status reporting for the organization (monthly, quarterly, and on-demand), providing an integrated view of progress against budget, security posture, delivery milestones, organizational health, and strategic roadmap alignment.
    2. Work closely with functional and technology leads to gather, validate, and synthesize data and narrative for effective decision-making by senior leaders.
  1. Roadmap & OKR/KPI Operationalization
    1. Coordinate the development and communication of the 12–18-month technology and operational roadmap for the org (e.g., Underwriting Workbench).
    2. Align new and ongoing efforts to organizational-level OKRs/KPIs, ensuring measurable outcomes, clarity in progress reporting, and shared accountability.
