About the Role
As a Content Designer supporting our Claims Intake experience, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how customers interact with Liberty Mutual during key moments. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to design clear, effective, and engaging content that improves usability and enhances the overall customer journey.
About the Team
You’ll be part of a dynamic community of 80+ Experience Designers working across the organization. In addition, you’ll partner closely with a focused team of designers dedicated to the Claims Intake space, allowing for both broad collaboration and deep domain expertise.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, analysts, researchers, and fellow content designers to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions. Work closely with insurance product subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into effective content strategies.
- Identify and drive content opportunities: Apply content design methodologies to uncover opportunities that improve user experience, including information architecture, content hierarchy, and microcopy.
- Craft clear, concise content: Write and refine content that aligns with Liberty Mutual’s tone and voice guidelines, adheres to established standards, and reflects best practices for each digital channel.
- Leverage user insights: Continuously evaluate content effectiveness through user feedback, research, and data. Use insights to iterate and optimize experiences for clarity, usability, and impact.
Qualifications
- As typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in a related field: Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup
- Familiarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated proficiency in at least two: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research and/or experiment design
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to present projects and status reports to team leadership
- Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
