Description

Represents Liberty Mutual as a Relationship Manager across the Financial Services Vertical partner accounts with the goal of driving profitable growth within the Strategic Partnership Group (SPG) at Liberty Mutual. Supports overall profitability and retention of existing accounts and the implementation of new accounts, under minimal direction. Supports existing and new partner relationships (e.g., credit unions, banks, fintechs, and credit cards/bureaus) to help the vertical scale through consistent practices, coordinated execution, and internal alignment. Leverages existing solutions to bring Liberty Mutual’s full suite of product offerings to partners. Ensures partner service needs are met through frequent meetings and discussions covering strategy, account performance, new products, market developments, and effective internal coordination, including modernizing our digital marketing strategy, measurement, and optimization.

  • Represents Liberty Mutual as a Relationship Manager across Financial Services partner accounts. Enhances existing relationships, supports delivery of campaigns, and helps further penetrate existing accounts in partnership with senior relationship owners and vertical leadership.
  • Assists in securing or implementing new accounts and expansions. Responsible for driving profitable growth through new business production and retention across the Financial Services vertical.
  • Develops and builds effective working relationships with clients and key executives, as appropriate, and partners closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent partner experience across the vertical. Researches and develops presentation materials to deliver to clients and/or internal stakeholders, including marketing strategies, results of partnership, and premium growth.
  • Assists in proposing and implementing a marketing plan for the national client groups that maximizes penetration, conversion rates and overall premium targets while also meeting the goals set by the client. Responsible for ensuring marketing strategies are cost effective to realize appropriate return on investment and comply with state or local regulations. Supports the identification, design, and scaling of market-leading digital marketing tactics and channels (in addition to traditional affinity marketing), including partnering on targeting, customer journeys, and marketing technology/measurement needs.
  • Measures, tracks and analyzes client results (e.g. lead volume, market penetration, conversion rates, retention etc.). Based on analysis, renegotiates and adjusts marketing initiatives as appropriate to effectively meet targeted results for each client, and shares best practices/insights across the vertical to improve scalability and consistency. Leverages analytics to storyboard performance, articulate key drivers, and influence recommendations and decision making with internal and external stakeholders. Supports forecasting and measurement of digital performance and test-and-learn initiatives, translating results into actionable recommendations aligned to vertical and business objectives.
  • Represents the needs of the client by resolving any large scale account issues that may arise throughout the life of the contract and coordinating all necessary activities internally on behalf of the client (e.g. compensation changes, technical integrations, new marketing tactics). Ensures implementation of effective solutions ensuring client retention, while supporting issue triage and resolution across multiple partners as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree required.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA and/or CPCU certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise negotiation skills and resolve business issues with internal and external parties.
  • Knowledge of market-leading digital marketing tactics, marketing technology, and performance measurement, including the ability to forecast results, design/scale/test new initiatives, and translate outcomes into recommendations aligned to business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage analytics to create clear, executive-ready storyboards that translate data into actionable insights and influence decision making.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
