Description

Liberty Mutual is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to serve as a key relationship lead and consultant for a portfolio of strategic partners across the Financial Services vertical (credit unions, banks, fintechs, and credit card/bureau partners). In this role, you’ll work closely with senior partnership leaders to help drive partner growth and retention – assessing performance, identifying opportunities, and turning insights into clear strategies and action plans. You’ll help lead partner check-ins and business reviews, build executive-ready updates and recommendations, and coordinate across internal teams (marketing, analytics, product, legal/compliance, and operations) to launch initiatives, optimize results through test-and-learn, and resolve issues quickly. This is a high-visibility position reporting directly to the Vice President of Financial Services Strategic Partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Represent Liberty Mutual as a Relationship Manager and strategic partner for a portfolio of Financial Services accounts; in collaboration with senior relationship owners and leadership, translate partner goals into growth plans, operating cadence, and KPIs/OKRs, and support campaign delivery to scale new and existing partnerships.
  2. Analyze performance (penetration, conversion, retention, channel mix) to identify opportunities and develop data-backed insights, root causes, and prioritized recommendations to drive profitable growth.
  3. Build relationships with partner and internal executives; help lead QBRs/business reviews and develop executive-ready narratives/decks that communicate strategy, performance, risks, and recommended actions.
  4. Support cross-functional delivery of partner initiatives (campaigns, new offers, new integrations, journey improvements, marketing technology and measurement), coordinating scope, timelines, dependencies, and alignment.
  5. Track and report results (leads, conversion, penetration, retention, ROI); recommend optimizations to hit targets and share best practices to improve scalability and consistency across the vertical.
  6. Support the development and optimization of marketing strategy across affinity and digital channels, including forecasting, test-and-learn experimentation, measurement, and ROI validation in compliance with regulations.
  7. Support partner escalations (integrations, compensation changes, service issues, performance gaps), driving root-cause resolution, internal coordination, and clear partner communications to protect retention.
  8. Support renewals and expansion opportunities by contributing to business cases and articulating partnership value for amendments and new capabilities.

What You Bring

You bring experience working in a client-facing environment, with the ability to build relationships, think strategically, and navigate complex challenges. You’re comfortable working with data to generate insights, communicating recommendations clearly, and collaborating across teams to deliver results. Experience in financial services, consulting, marketing, or similar industries is helpful, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree required.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA and/or CPCU certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise negotiation skills and resolve business issues with internal and external parties.
  • Knowledge of market-leading digital marketing tactics, marketing technology, and performance measurement, including the ability to forecast results, design/scale/test new initiatives, and translate outcomes into recommendations aligned to business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage analytics to create clear, executive-ready storyboards that translate data into actionable insights and influence decision making.
