Director II, Relationship Management – Strategic Partnership Group (SPG)
Liberty Mutual is seeking a Director II, Relationship Management to help drive growth through our Strategic Partnership Group (SPG) - one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing distribution channels. In this role, you will lead and grow strategic digital partnerships that deliver high-volume third-party leads into Liberty Mutual’s Direct channel across personal and small commercial insurance.
You’ll serve as the primary relationship lead for key partners, collaborating across sales, service, technology, and product teams to drive growth, profitability, and long-term partner success. This is a highly visible role that combines strategy, analytics, and executive relationship management to scale Liberty Mutual’s partnership ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & Grow B2B2C Partnerships: Independently drive strategic relationships, new business, profitability, and retention
- Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate connections across all organizational levels—internally and with external partners
- Champion Collaboration: Foster teamwork and influence both Liberty and partners to achieve shared goals
- Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct analyses using PowerBI and other tools, identify trends proactively, and implement solutions through compelling storytelling
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with geographically dispersed Relationship Managers, Analysts, and Product Owners to optimize processes and maintain alignment
- Develop Product Expertise: Build deep knowledge of Liberty's personal and small commercial lines products
- Balance Strategy & Execution: Anticipate trends, prioritize tradeoffs, and set clear direction while delivering immediate results
What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience managing complex, high-volume partnerships or client relationships in insurance or related industries
- Strong analytical skills: Comfortable working with multiple data sources, interpreting analytics using PowerBI or similar tools, and crafting data-driven stories and presentations (required)

- Highly desirable: Familiarity with insurance call center operations, 3rd party distribution workflows, and P&L management
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience required
- Advanced degree such as MBA and/or CPCU certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to exercise advanced negotiation skills and resolve complex business issues with internal and external parties
- Advanced knowledge of marketing practices and insurance products as demonstrated through the ability to present products and recommend marketing initiatives to clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
