Description
Those located within a 50-mile radius of our Boston, Portsmouth, Columbus, Plano and Seattle offices are expected to return to the office 2 days a week.
Direct I&S is looking for a Director IC to help maximize the new business outcomes of our Lead Follow up Campaigns. Specifically this individual will be responsible for leading efforts focused on developing QNS (quoted not sold) lead ranking sophistication parity across campaigns, and explore opportunities for targeted outreach campaigns based on segment analyses. This individual will also help drive forward cross functional coordination of our campaign suppression rule logic to ensure a cohesive tactic strategy throughout a customer's quoting & policy lifecycle.
Additional responsibilities include; Perform complex analyses with strategic impact on business operations and/or functional groups (e.g. DRC). Manages multiple complex research projects that have potentially significant financial impact on a range of business decisions within or across functional groups. Synthesizes data from internal and external sources to produce meaningful observations and recommendations. Presents findings/recommendations and leads discussions with senior leadership at the functional or department level.
Responsibilities
- Performs complex analyses with strategic impact on business operations and/or functional groups (e.g. Marketing, Claims, etc.).
- Produces meaningful observations and recommendations through synthesizing data from internal and external sources.
- May frequently utilize, update and adapt predictive modeling tools and/or focus on the application of the tools.
- Works independently and often manages work streams of others.
- Manages multiple complex research projects that have potentially significant financial impact on a range of business decisions within or across functional groups.
- Presents findings / recommendations and leads discussions with senior leadership (VP/SVP) at the department or functional level. May present to departmental head or SBU head.
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or another quantitative field plus a minimum of 7 years, typically 10 or more years, of applied business / non-academic experience, or equivalent
- Proven track record of applying advanced analytics to improve business results and resolve business problems
- Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers
- Possesses ability to articulate what limits are to certain tools (SAS) or methodologies
- Expert ability in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem)
- Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication and project management skills
