To enable our 2030 aspirations, North America Data & Analytics is seeking a Director II, Advanced Analytics to lead our North America Operations Analytics team. The Operations Analytics team plays an integral part in enabling Global Risk Solutions North America to deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners.

In this role, your top focus areas will be:

  • Delivering critical operational data, reporting, and analytical insights for Underwriting, Operations, and partner groups across GRS
  • Partnering with Business Reinvention and the Transformation Office on our Path to 2030
  • Executing on data and analytics initiatives that enable Canada's 2030 strategy
  • Ensuring the successful completion of our Middle Market Independent Agency Integration

You will collaborate regularly with senior leaders across North America and GRS to drive high impact initiatives that will make our 2030 ambitions a reality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage dedicated analytical resources to generate operational insights based on sophisticated analytical tools and methodologies in support of Underwriting, Office of Operations, and other partners.
  • Provides strategic input and thought partnership on large-scale, highly complex projects/business issues. Propose tactical direction impacting the function or SBU or Corporate department.
  • Owns relationship with Underwriting and Operations, delivering advanced tools and insights, including on-going monitoring of metrics and initiatives, to improve business results.
  • Manages dedicated analytical resources to inform the business of trends, competitive intelligence, and operational insights based on sophisticated analytical tools and methodologies in support of a function or otherwise designated major segment of the business.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field; Ph.D. helpful given quantitative work overseen.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert knowledge of data sources, tools, and business processes, including a sophisticated understanding of cross-functional operations and business drivers.
  • Expert knowledge of advanced statistical techniques required.
