Description

The Solution Delivery Support team is seeking a Director to lead a team of System Support Analysts aligned to Agile product squads across our Small Commercial business. This team is responsible for delivering pricing updates, product enhancements, and core innovations with speed, accuracy, and consistency.

In this role, you will align team priorities to business goals, manage capacity across multiple product areas, and ensure high-quality delivery outcomes. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and IT leadership while driving operational consistency across tools, processes, and documentation. This leader will also champion continuous improvement, modern ways of working, and adoption of AI and data tools to scale team impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth
  • Align work to business priorities and product roadmaps while managing competing demands
  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, and IT to ensure effective execution and delivery
  • Drive process improvements to enhance speed to market, quality, and efficiency
  • Establish consistent practices across Jira, documentation, and knowledge management
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of team members
  • Lead through change, promoting transparency and adaptability
  • Champion adoption of AI, data tools, and modern delivery practices

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading or influencing teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong understanding of technology delivery, Agile/SAFe frameworks, and operational processes
  • Ability to align teams to strategic priorities and manage capacity effectively
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and building high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)

Strong preference for experience in Small Commercial insurance, including product delivery, rating systems, or policy lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in technical or business discipline or related experience
  • Master`s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years related experience with 5 years in leadership in role desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of project management concepts, strategies, and methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of systems and emerging trends in technology
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies
  • Extensive management skills required to hire, develop, and motivate managers, and teams
  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
