Description

Candidates who live within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX will follow a hybrid schedule, coming into the office two days per week. Otherwise, this role is remote.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of project/product management discipline, user experience mindset, and enterprise change understanding. In practice, this means they can translate complex, fragmented tools and processes into a cohesive, easy-to-use system; align stakeholders across functions; and drive iterative improvements based on real user needs and behaviors. They are equally comfortable helping set strategy, making prioritization decisions, and working hands-on with teams to deliver and refine solutions.

The Project Manager, Change Knowledge & Tools Integration is responsible for defining, building, and continuously evolving the enterprise experience for how change management tools, resources, and knowledge are accessed and used across Liberty. This role operates at the intersection of product management, digital experience, and change enablement—ensuring that change capability is simple, integrated, and embedded into the flow of work for leaders and practitioners.

Acting as the owner for the Change Experience “front door,” this individual will define the vision and roadmap, manage a prioritized backlog, and partner closely with Strategy & Transformation, Project/Change delivery teams, Change Experience teams and Technology to integrate frameworks and tools into platforms, project lifecycles, and workflows. They will apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive, high-value experiences, while leveraging data and insights to continuously improve adoption and effectiveness.

Owns the integration and evolution of the change management method, tools, and knowledge ecosystem (in partnership with Change Experience, Talent teams, Delivery teams and Technology)

Success in this role will be measured by increased adoption of change tools, improved consistency in how change is executed across projects, and the ability to scale change capability across the enterprise without increasing delivery complexity.

  • Plans activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversees day-to-day work and monitoring of progress towards goals.
  • Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders within and beyond the project team.
  • Directs stakeholders towards consensus points and typically gains buy-in of recommendations.
  • Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options and influences recommended approach.
  • In addition to project management, may also perform some of the work defined in the project roles and responsibilities.
  • Performs project close-out steps to include identifying lessons learned/best practices to inform the success of future projects. Applies continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle.
  • Provides mentoring to less experienced staff.
