Description
Join the User Experience organization at Liberty Mutual!
At Liberty Mutual, our User Experience organization is on a mission to create extraordinary digital experiences that help us win with customers, agents, and prospects. We are redefining what best-in-class looks like in the insurance industry—delivering intuitive, seamless digital quoting and making digital our primary channel for service and claims. If you’re passionate about crafting meaningful, user-centered content that drives clarity and confidence, we invite you to join us.
About the team:
You’ll be part of a dynamic community of 80+ Experience Designers working across the organization. In addition, you’ll partner closely with a focused team of designers dedicated to our Claims Experience space, allowing for both broad collaboration and deep domain expertise.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Product Designer to join the Claims team in our Professional tools portfolio. This role is within USRM Claims Experience and supports the internal Claims tool utilized by Liberty Mutual CLaims adjusters. Under general direction, you will deliver user-centered design solutions that support the creation of best-in-class digital tools aimed at improving ease and efficiency. You'll help support individual product team(s), while also being a part of a mature UX team collaborating with content designers, other product designers, and user researchers.
You will optimize multi-step user flows using various design tools (e.g. experience and service design maps, journey maps, concepts, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes). All designers are expected to maintain the defined UX and brand standards in the execution of visual, interaction and motion design. You’ll be the advocate for the end user within a cross-functional team and work collaboratively by sharing designs early and often, seeking constructive feedback and integrating feedback to improve solutions.
You could be a great fit for this role if you are:
· A Visual Craftsman: You will create conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas as well as detailed design specifications for the finished product. You will ensure brand standards are appropriately integrated into all final designs to deliver a consistent experience.
· An Experience Innovator: You will work throughout all phases of the design process such as conceptual design, storyboards, persona/scenario development, user task/interaction flow diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes and prototypes.
· A Customer Advocate: You will help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing. You will continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions.
· A Natural Collaborator: You will work with multiple functions, including product owners and developers throughout the product lifecycle, seeking frequent feedback and integrating multiple considerations into your work.
