Description

The Optimization Analytics Team within Direct Analytics & Enablement is looking for a highly motivated Analyst with strong analytical, technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to join our team. Your job will be to support optimizing LM's Digital Sales Channel to help propel Liberty Mutual to be the #3 Direct carrier that serves the mass market. You will use data to identify & size actionable opportunities and partner cross-functionally to prioritize, test, iterate, and implement optimizations that improve the user experience and drive incremental value for LM.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner across our team on initiatives aimed at improving the Online Auto Digital Quoting Experiences.
  • Support the design and execution of A/B tests, including post-implementation monitoring processes to drive continued growth and inform further iterative testing.
  • Monitor Digital performance trends and conduct a range of complex analyses to quantify the business value of existing processes; proactively identify & evaluate potential future optimization opportunities
  • Communicate analytical findings cross-functionally to help inform prioritization and trade-off decisions, and present findings to various stakeholder groups, tailoring content appropriately.
  • Collaborate with other teams within Direct Analytics & Enablement to monitor and understand drivers of KPI trends, testing impacts on Direct financial plans, and monitor Digital systems health.
  • Support the development of data and reporting solutions that provide more granular insights, including the development of queries that combine large, complex data sources into usable formats.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or Master's Degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools and common statistical principals.
  • Understanding of intricacies of business supported is helpful.
  • Understands how actions tie to systems capabilities and flow through to our financials/business drivers.
  • Ability to learn how to build simple tools and queries for others to use.
