Description
Are you passionate about pricing in the insurance industry and eager to make an impact through data-driven solutions? Join our collaborative USRM Pricing Operations and Tool Support team as a Senior Analyst, where you’ll play a vital role in developing and supporting cutting-edge pricing tools and processes that drive business success. This is a great opportunity to work closely with cross functional teams, expand your technical skills, and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of the USRM Pricing Deployments department.
Candidates who live within 50 miles of Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Seattle, WA; Columbus, OH; or Plano, TX will follow a hybrid schedule, coming into the office two days per week. Otherwise, this role is remote with occasional travel.
You will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product Modeling, Product Delivery, Pricing Tools, and Data teams—to gather requirements, analyze tooling needs, and define the scope for new pricing solutions in the Earnix environment.
- Support the development and implementation of scripts, tools, and processes for Earnix across various rating programs, states, and lines of business, including pricing program builds.
- Support and maintain SAS environment pricing and quality control tools (such as NGRT, Base Rate Calculators, and configuration files) to ensure accurate pricing and successful rating program rollouts.
- Analyze and address procedural and technical challenges, proposing and implementing tool improvements in coordination with team members and management.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and support product launches.
- Independently manage and prioritize work to meet stakeholder/product rollout timelines and deadlines.
- Share progress, insights, and outcomes with peers, managers, and cross-functional partners, occasionally through formal presentations.
- Contribute innovative ideas to advance methodologies, tools, and best practices, supporting data-driven decision-making for the business.
- Demonstrate a team-oriented, growth mindset by sharing knowledge, training colleagues, and striving to enhance team, department, and company performance.
You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with the data science community and participate in cross-functional working groups. If you have a strong technical and analytical skillset, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply!
