Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the APD Insights & Solutions (I&S) Operations team, supporting operational enablement and continuous improvement across USRM Claims APD.

This role provides advanced operational, analytical, and support, focused on understanding how work gets done, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving measurable business outcomes through data, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Business Analyst operates with limited direction, independently managing assignments while partnering across APD, I&S, and broader Claims stakeholders.

**This position may have in-office requirements twice a week depending on candidate location.**

Responsibilities Include:

Operational Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of APD processes, workflows, and performance
  • Analyze data, trends, and business inputs to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes

Process Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Support initiatives to redesign workflows and optimize operational processes
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions
  • Support implementation of changes and monitor impact to ensure outcomes are achieved

Project & Initiative Support

  • Manage or contribute to cross-functional initiatives with clear planning, coordination, and execution
  • Support high-visibility efforts across APD (e.g., Test Kitchen, DEW Governance, Office Visits)

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

  • Collaborate with APD, I&S, and xLOB Claims partners to ensure alignment with business priorities

Ad Hoc & Operational Support

  • Respond to dynamic business needs and ad hoc requests across APD and xLOB Claims

Ideal Experience Includes:

  • Experience as an APD front-line People Leader
  • Strong knowledge of APD claims handling and workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational outcomes

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and solid knowledge of database software.
  • Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work.
