Product Owner III – Agency Distribution Solutions (Comparion & LMIA)

As a Product Owner III within Agency Distribution Solutions (ADS), you will lead the strategy and execution of high-impact products supporting Comparion Insurance Agency and LMIA. This role will also play a critical leadership role in advancing our data transformation—shaping how whole, clean, and connected data powers next-generation agent experiences.

You will operate at the intersection of business, technology, and data to deliver AI-enabled capabilities that simplify quoting, improve agent productivity, and drive revenue growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in complex, enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver customer-facing digital products
  • Experience with distribution, quoting platforms, or agency/insurance ecosystems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing at senior leadership levels
  • Strong data mindset with interest or experience in AI-enabled product capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Own Product & Data Strategy

  • Define and drive product vision aligned to ADS, Comparion, LMIA, and enterprise data transformation goals
  • Shape how data capabilities (quality, integration, accessibility) enable AI-powered quoting and agent workflows

Lead Data-Driven Transformation

  • Champion initiatives to deliver whole, clean, and connected data across quoting and sales platforms
  • Partner with data engineering, analytics, and architecture teams to modernize data foundations
  • Ensure data is treated as a core product asset, enabling intelligent automation and insights

Drive AI-Enabled Experiences

  • Deliver capabilities that embed AI into agent workflows (prefill, recommendations, decisioning)
  • Translate data and AI opportunities into tangible product features and business outcomes

Execute with Discipline

  • Own backlog, prioritization, and delivery with engineering teams
  • Balance speed, quality, and risk to deliver measurable impact

Influence & Align

  • Partner across ADS, Comparion, LMIA, and enterprise stakeholders
  • Drive alignment on product direction, data strategy, and investment priorities
  • Communicate clearly with senior leaders on progress, risks, and outcomes

Own Outcomes

    • Deliver improvements in quote speed, agent ease, data quality, and revenue per customer
    • Track adoption and continuously optimize product performance

  • Connected data that is Whole, Clean, and Complete, regardless of where it is sourced
  • Measurable improvements in agent efficiency and quote conversion
  • Scalable data foundation enabling future innovation (e.g., comp rater of the future)
  • Clear alignment between product roadmap and enterprise data strategy

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies as typically acquired through a Bachelors’ degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.), 7 years in business, technology, or consulting with 5 to 7 years direct experience with agile teams
  • Master's degree preferred
  • High level of proven business expertise needed to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts
  • Develops strong stakeholder relationships and influencing across multiple organizational boundaries
  • Demonstrated experience leading varied audiences through the development of complex ideas, issues and designs
  • Ability to lead varied audiences through census building
  • Proven experience with Agile practices and expectations
  • Comfortable with making decisions with some level of uncertainty
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of insurance industry preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant products and portfolio strongly preferred
  • Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amongst uncertainty and exploit market opportunities
