Description

USRM’s Distribution & Marketing is seeking a Project Manager to join the Strategic PartnershipsGroup (SPG) Insights & Solutions team. This role will support SPG’s strategy and execution of key strategic and operational initiatives that advance SPG’s growth priorities.

In this role, you will lead projects and workstreams, partner with SPG leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, develop project plans and business cases, manage timelines and risks, and communicate progress through clear reporting and leadership-ready materials. You will help bring structure to complex work, support decision making, and drive initiatives that improve SPG’s performance and organizational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a strong project manager and problem solver who can balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution.

This role is a great opportunity for those who want to develop deeper project management and strategic execution capabilities while gaining exposure to distribution strategy, strategic partnerships, and high-impact business priorities across SPG and USRM.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead projects and workstreams aligned to SPG and USRM strategic priorities
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, resources, and success measures
  • Coordinate stakeholders, facilitate project meetings, and drive accountability for deliverables
  • Partner with I&S peers, SPG leaders, and cross-functional teams to advance strategic initiatives
  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and tradeoffs; develop mitigation plans and escalate appropriately
  • Prepare project updates, leadership summaries, meeting materials, and decision-making support
  • Contribute to business cases, process improvements, implementation plans, and project close-out activities
  • Support ad-hoc projects and planning efforts tied to the SPG strategy and annual plan

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage the project management life cycle for projects of varying complexity.
  • Proficient with project management tools.
  • Project management certification strongly preferred.
  • Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 6+ years of relevant experience to include project management work. Advanced degree preferred.
