Description
As a Program Manager, Infrastructure Solutions Practice (ISP), you will report to the Global Surety COO and support ISP by bringing structure and focus to the cross-segment and cross-Liberty work of building out collaboration methods and tools in service of ISP success and GRS's 2030 vision.
You will be directly responsible for workstream cadence, ISP board prep and reporting, and internal coordination across GRS and LMI. You will collaborate closely with the ISP leader and Surety COO to identify and prioritize work that advances our ability to win with our infrastructure-related clients, influencing and collaborating with our infrastructure-related product leaders and support teams.
Responsibilities:
- Defines the business case and scope with input from stakeholders. Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources.
- Plans activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversees day-to-day work and monitoring of progress towards goals.
- Prioritizes stakeholder and customer asks, translating strategic goals and asks into concrete deliverables.
- Works with ISP leaders to recommend new product solutions for customers and culture of innovation across GRS and LMI related to Infrastructure. Directs stakeholders towards consensus points and typically gains buy-in of recommendations.
- Manages ISP workstreams, including directing work across segments and functions and ensuring appropriate accountability and alignment. Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options and influences recommended approach.
- Prepares internal communications including status updates and board presentation materials.
- Performs workstream close-out steps to include identifying lessons learned/best practices to inform the success of future projects. Applies continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle.
- Provides mentoring to less experienced staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with GRS's infrastructure practice or other Infrastructure-related experience strongly preferred / required. At minimum, must understand ISP's value proposition, market conditions, and business operations.
- Prior experience managing stakeholders at every level to achieve specific goals and deliverables.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills. Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills, as well as Structured problem solving and activity coordination.
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include project / program management work.
***This is a Grade 17/18 role, depending on experience leveling***

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
- Strong ability to manage all aspects of the project management life cycle.
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Project management certification strongly preferred.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business operations knowledge to include understanding the function's value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include project management work.
