Description

Are you a master coordinator, a technically savvy doer, and a behind-the-scenes orchestrator who loves turning big ideas into beautifully executed reality? Do you get a thrill from bringing structure to complex, ambiguous challenges, rallying cross-functional teams around a shared vision, and making digital experiences more fun and engaging along the way? If so, pull up a chair — we'd love to meet you and encourage you to apply to join our team as our new Digital Experience Manager.

In this role, you'll be the connective tissue that helps bring digital experiences to life across our agent portals. Reporting to the Digital Experience Director, you'll provide the strategic leadership and project management needed to build momentum and propel our digital strategy forward. To fuel that momentum, you’ll partner across teams to unlock new data opportunities needed to deliver enhanced personalization across our digital experiences. And you won’t stop there, you'll also serve as the central force behind our gamification efforts, from how we structure, build, run, measure, and optimize these experiences — all the way down to the backend infrastructure – with the goal of implementing a consistent and highly engaging experience for agents.

The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and a knack for influencing without authority. You're equally comfortable speaking "tech" and "marketing," you love rolling up your sleeves to get into the technical details, and you're energized by partnering with a multitude of teams to deliver impactful work. Did we mention we also like to have a ton of fun along the way as we reimagine the future of our digital frontier?

We encourage all remote candidates to apply. Seattle, WA or Boston, MA locations preferred.

Responsibilities:

Digital experience execution

  • Provide tactical execution muscle for our broader digital strategy, partnering closely with our Digital Experience Director to bring our vision to life across our agent portals
  • Partner with Director of Portal Publishing and Personalization, Product Owners and IT to assess, prioritize, and move digital experience projects forward — quickly defining requirements through a strong understanding of our current and future state infrastructure, data needs, and the connected marketing ecosystem.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our User Experience and User Research teams to identify, define, and build new and optimal digital features and user experiences.

Data subject matter expert (SME) & enablement

  • Serve as the primary data SME for the IA Marketing team, partnering closely with data teams to improve the accessibility, accuracy, and usability of data, enabling deeper personalization and broader utilization across our Independent Agent Marketing efforts.

Gamification leadership & coordination

  • Act as a hands-on technical advisor for gamification — digging into the technical constructs of what’s possible, advising on which elements of gamification are most engaging to our agent-facing audiences and helping us right-size how we implement our strategy from a technical and creative perspective, ultimately defining a scalable and sustainable approach.
  • Look around corners to advance the technical ecosystem of our gamification experiences, identifying opportunities to build foundational capabilities that enable faster, smarter iteration and greater impact over time.
  • Own the coordination of measurement and success for gamification — defining what good looks like, tracking engagement and performance, and translating the results into clear, compelling stories and recommendations.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for our gamification efforts, owning the centralized view of our gamification roadmap (in-market, in development) bringing greater clarity across our broader team, coordinating tightly with our Marketing Strategy & Programs and Content & Creative teams.
  • Help our cross-functional partners understand how gamified experiences are designed and structured, acting as the SME that keeps everyone aligned, informed, and moving in the same direction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred) or equivalent experience required. MBA highly desired. 10+ years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience in a marketing-driven organization, to include proven management background.
  • Knowledge of Liberty Mutual's products and marketing efforts is preferred.
  • Requires extensive theoretical, practical and industry knowledge.
  • Have thorough understanding of customer segmentation and management techniques, as well as the business and products supported and the regulations impacting them.
  • Proven ability to integrate marketing strategies and programs across multiple sectors.
  • Experience within Insurance or other service-marketing industries that use multiple sales channels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Budget management experience preferred.
