The Compensation Operations team within Agency Distribution Solutions (ADS) Finance is searching for a highly motivated Manager of Compensation Business Analysis to lead a critical function supporting compensation for the Comparion Insurance Agency. In this role, you will own the process of ingesting all carrier commission statements—both downloading and non-downloading—and ensure files are accurately prepared and ready for handoff to subsequent compensation processing steps. You will oversee reconciliations across carrier statements, bank transactions, agency management system (AMS) transactions, and agent payments, working closely with stakeholders across the Comp Ops team and other parts of ADS.

This is an opportunity to lead and develop a team while driving accuracy and continuous improvement within a high-impact, cross-functional operation. You will focus on strengthening controls, improving processes, and building team capability through coaching and cross-training, all in support of accurate and timely compensation for Comparion agents and managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the end-to-end process to ingest all carrier commission statements, including both downloading and non-downloading carriers.

  • Analyzes current processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, with a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Participates in and leads cross-functional project work to implement process improvements.
  • Partners with the broader Comp Ops team to establish and maintain appropriate controls across the compensation function.
  • Develops team members and leads cross-training efforts across the Compensation team to build broader capability and coverage.
  • Communicates progress, findings, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of data sources, tools, software applications and business drivers.
  • Advanced knowledge of business operations, policies, procedures, and priorities, to include a strong understanding of the function's value chain and market conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise influence, engage employees; communicate effectively; promote collaboration, team work and change initiatives; and build value for customers through a service orientation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Displays solid business acumen and integrated thinking.
  • Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience to include business analysis work and prior experience working in an effective leadership capacity.
