Description

Senior Analyst / Consultant – Property & Specialty Product, Frontier Program Management

About the Role

At Liberty Mutual, we're simplifying how we build and bring insurance products to market. The US Retail Markets Property & Specialty Product Delivery team is leading a large-scale business and technology transformation that will redefine how we compete in Personal Lines.

We're hiring a Senior Analyst or Consultant to join our Property & Specialty Product Program Management team — a high-visibility group at the center of that effort. In this role, you'll help define our next generation of Property & Specialty products and build the roadmap to deliver them. You'll work across one of the broadest portfolios in Personal Lines — Homeowners, Condo, and Specialty — partnering with leaders across Product, Technology, and Delivery to turn complex problems into clear, actionable solutions. This is a role with unusual scope.

Beyond supporting a single workstream, you'll help shape cross-functional working models, influence

product strategy, and design the structures that keep a major transformation on track. If you want to think big, move deliberately, and make a meaningful impact on a major insurance organization, this is your opportunity.

**This position may have in-office requirements depending on candidate location.**

**This is a ranged G15/G16 posting and level offered will be based on candidate experience at manager discretion.**

What You'll Do

  • Drive product convergence analysis: Research current-state products across brands and lines of business, identify differences, and recommend go-forward solutions that simplify our product portfolio.
  • Own requirements development timelines: Build and manage workplans that keep product requirement development on track, coordinating across key stakeholders including Product Development, Delivery, and Pricing.
  • Support our Legacy Book strategy: Help develop a consolidation strategy for Legacy Books across the P&S portfolio — a critical enabler of our long-term transformation.
  • Build organizational working models: Design and maintain the cross-functional engagement structures that keep Product, Experience, and Technology teams aligned on roadmaps, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Document converged product requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define and formalize the product requirements that will power our next-generation insurance platform

What We're Looking For

  • Insurance product knowledge: especially Personal Lines Property products
  • Project management experience: you know how to build a plan, manage stakeholders, and keep complex workstreams moving
  • Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills: you're comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems and turning them into clear recommendations
  • A collaborative approach: you work effectively across teams, escalate when needed, and stay focused on outcomes
  • Comfort with ambiguity: this program is evolving, and the best candidates will thrive in an environment where not everything is defined yet

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in insurance, product strategy, consulting, or program management (experience level will determine placement at the Senior Analyst or Consultant level)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to product transformation, platform modernization, or portfolio consolidation initiatives

Benefits

We value your hard work, integrity, and commitment to positive change. In return for your service, it's our privilege to offer you benefits and rewards that support your life and well-being. To learn more about our benefit offerings please visit: https://LMI.co/Benefits

  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of data concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of data architectures, solutions and designs; extensive knowledge of business operations, strategies and objectives.
  • Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
