Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within Workforce Management. This position leads a team of Scheduling Analysts who are responsible for maintaining schedules for thousands of employees across USRM claims, ultimately ensuring that the right claims are assigned to the right people at the right time. In this role, you will develop leadership skills, collaborate across multiple functions, develop & enhance processes and explore technological advances.

Candidates who live within 50 miles of our Boston, Portsmouth, Columbus, Plano or Seattle offices will be on-site two days per week.

Responsible for leading a team of Analysts within Claims Workforce Management. This position will oversee the day-to-day work of Scheduling Analysts, including quality, efficiency and business partner relationships. The Supervisor will also drive employee development, team engagement, process/ workflow/ system improvements and project management within the team.

Although not required, the following skills and experiences will be heavily considered:

  • Familiarity with the scheduling and claim assignment process, and related systems (Calabrio, ADC, Navigator)
  • Prior leadership experience

Responsibilities

Oversees day-to-day work of a team by prioritizing and supervising the workload and capacity, including assigning tasks and creating schedules (from intake through reporting). Partners closely with various levels of management to identify objectives and ensure the team executes tactics. Supervises and develops staff, including setting measures aligned to goals, partnering on development plans, providing coaching and feedback and providing training. Ensures team members are following outlined protocols and service level agreements (SLAs), providing necessary information and training where needed. Reviews workflows and solicits team feedback to continually improve the intake and output process for team. Responsible for leading the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP) for team.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project planning skills with a proven track record of execution and continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including superb attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related and progressively more responsible experience
  • Experience coaching employees is desired
