Description
The Property & Specialty Delivery Program Management team is expanding and seeking a highly accomplished project manager to join the team. Program Management drives high value business results by overseeing the development and execution of product updates that bring ideas into market. This individual contributor role will focus on development of Agency market Motorcycle and Watercraft program updates that will enable new business growth. Long term, the role will transition to support other lines of business as new program builds are planned. The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills and proven ability to lead through ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end program management of complex program refreshes
- Build and manage project roadmap, outlining the key milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
- Implement strong project team norms, processes, and governance to promote transparency and stakeholder alignment
- Proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and facilitate timely resolution of issues to keep program on track
- Navigate organizational matrix to successfully influence program goals
- Clearly communicate across diverse stakeholders, including presentations to senior leadership audiences
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field. Masters, PhD, or equivalent helpful given quantitative work they are leading.
- Minimum of 7, typically 10 years or more relevant work experience.
- Expert skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
- Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication, and project management skills.
- Expert knowledge of data sources, tools, and the business (lines, systems, pricing plans), predictive modeling, and code (e.g., SQL).
- Significant understanding of competitors' pricing strategies and relationship to our own.
- Industry knowledge developed from internal meetings, news alerts, project-specific work, and proactive research into competitor strategies.
