Description

This is a role within the USRM Results & Insights Data Solutions team created to represent USRM Finance data needs across Frontier, a multi-year business and technology transformation effort focused on radically simplifying and accelerating how USRM Personal Lines goes to market, powered by a modern, future-ready unified insurance platform. As the Data Solutions lead for Frontier, this role will serve as the primary Finance data liaison to the program, with a core focus on data integration and reporting requirements, developing a deep understanding of Finance reporting needs, translating them into integration requirements as new platform capabilities are designed and delivered, and ensuring source-to-ledger data flows, actuals, and downstream reporting remain intact through the transformation. This role will also maintain a holistic view of how Frontier intersects with parallel initiatives such as OneGL and NextGen Actuals, helping ensure consistent requirements and avoiding duplicative or throw-away work across programs.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance data and systems, is energized by large-scale transformation work, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity as the program's scope and roadmap continue to evolve. This role will engage broadly across USRM Finance, Frontier program and technology teams, and enterprise data partners to assess impacts, shape requirements, and advocate for Finance's data needs throughout the program lifecycle.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary Finance data liaison to the Frontier program, representing USRM Finance data needs across program workstreams, design forums, and delivery milestones
  • Own Finance data integration requirements for Frontier, defining how data from the new unified insurance platform flows into Finance systems, including source-to-ledger feeds, mappings, and reconciliation points
  • Develop a deep understanding of Finance reporting requirements across Results & Insights, Corporate Finance, and USRM Planning, and translate them into clear integration and data specifications for Frontier program and technology teams
  • Identify and assess impacts of Frontier platform and process changes on Finance data flows, actuals, and downstream reporting and analytics, and track requirements through design, build, and testing
  • Maintain a holistic view of cross-program dependencies, ensuring Frontier-driven changes are aligned with parallel initiatives such as OneGL and NextGen Actuals to ensure consistency and avoid duplicative or throw-away work
  • Support readiness activities for Finance as Frontier capabilities deploy, including data validation, testing support, and transition planning for impacted data flows and reports
  • Communicate program impacts, risks, and status to Finance leadership and Data Solutions partners on a recurring basis
  • Challenge the status quo and champion process improvement opportunities, including automation and AI-driven solutions, to strengthen Finance's data foundation through the transformation
  • Anticipate emerging Finance reporting needs and advocate for forward-looking data capabilities within Frontier's design, positioning USRM to compete effectively as market and business demands evolve

What you will bring

  • Strong technical toolkit; experience with data integration between operational source systems and finance or reporting platforms, general ledger data, enterprise data platforms, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) strongly preferred. Familiarity with insurance policy, claims, or billing data a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cross-system data flows and dependencies, with the ability to assess how changes in one program impact parallel enterprise initiatives (e.g., ledger transformations, platform migrations).
  • Experience gathering and translating reporting and business requirements into technical specifications, and communicating effectively with program teams, source-system owners, and non-technical finance partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large-scale transformation programs in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions and ambiguity to achieve results

Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Bachelor`s Degree
  • Master`s in same or related disciplines strongly preferred
