Description
As a Financial Analyst STP within the USRM Consolidated Reporting and Insights team, you will play a key role in driving financial transparency and strategic alignment for the Specialty business across US Retail Markets. Our team delivers strategic financial insights to executive leadership by analyzing operational actions and trends across US Retail Markets, and serves as the source of truth for USRM Property & Specialty results. We are responsible for producing and communicating monthly financial results, driving efficiency improvements in reporting accuracy and granularity, and enabling decision-making across the enterprise. This role combines strong financial acumen with cross-functional collaboration to support results analysis for the Specialty line of business.
You will partner closely with USRM Planning teams, Product, Distribution and Risk Analytics stakeholders to assess the financial health of the business and inform key decisions that support long-term strategic goals. This role will mainly be aligned to results for the Specialty LOB, and will be responsible for leading monthly MORs with the Specialty Product organization. Additionally, a key component of this role will be leading projects that enable more sophisticated insights for the Specialty LOB based on the needs of Specialty leadership. This role will also collaborate actively with the planning team to understand planning assumptions and to provide insights that
help shape future forecast and plans.
This role combines comprehensive technical expertise and analytic ability with strong interpersonal skills to lead highly visible cross-functional projects and analysis with significant organizational impact. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences including higher levels of the organization to ensure alignment with project goals and schedules.

Job responsibilities:
- Own all standard reporting for the Specialty LOB, lead MORs with Property and Specialty Leadership, and lead ad hoc projects and analysis based on emerging trends and impacts to the business.
- Lead data enhancement projects and improve overall financial reporting infrastructure based on the needs and priorities of Specialty Product leadership.
- Champion process improvement and identify efficiencies through AI-driven solutions and automation to enhance the speed, accuracy, and granularity of reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a functional lead in managing workflow & prioritizing senior leadership requests to ensure appropriate finance and stakeholder engagement / alignment.
- Coordinate and complete complex deliverables across Results and Insights and Planning team to ensure consistency in approach and connectivity to operational and financial strategy.
- Provide dotted-line management of offshore resources and matrixed management of the analyst pool, including workload prioritization, coaching, and feedback.
