Description

USRM Distribution Solutions is looking for an Integration Analyst (SBU System Support Analyst) who will work with external partners to expand third-party API quote and bind technology partnerships across the Independent Agent channel. They will lead agencies, comparative raters, insurtechs, and solution providers through the development and onboarding to Liberty Mutual APIs, and will be responsible for the integration health of these partnerships once in-market. These API capabilities are undergoing a multi-year modernization effort, making this an exciting time to join the team and help bring our integration solutions to market.

This is a range Grade 13 - 15.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or directly support external quote and bind API integrations with third-party partners from requirement gathering through launch and ongoing optimization
  • Develop integration documentation, implementation plans, testing strategies, and partner communication plans
  • Monitor integration health, coordinate issue resolution, and communicate critical incidents and changes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of complex external UI/API experience business requirements
  • Bring the Voice of the Partner to Liberty Product Owners and Engineering by communicating external partner needs, influencing squad backlogs, and providing insight into the potential impact of planned changes
  • Communicate project progress to internal stakeholders; collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Distribution, Product, Insights & Solutions) to ensure integration design both meets Liberty Mutual requirements as well as aligns with partner expectations
  • Champion process improvement, AI-enabled workflows, and knowledge sharing across the integration analyst team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management, typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, computer science, or the humanities
  • 3 years of experience in business, technology, or consulting with a minimum of 1 year direct experience with agile teams
  • Experience with systems integration and data mapping, including some knowledge of XML and JSON standards
  • Knowledge of personal lines property and casualty insurance, particularly homeowners and auto insurance, is a plus
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to bridge technical and business requirements
  • Collaborative problem solver who navigates ambiguity effectively
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
