The Opportunity

MassMutual’s Worksite organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced business enablement expert to join a growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for all facets of leading the establishment of target state business operations and models within multiple transformational programs and solutions ranging from digital transformation, product development, platform implementations, customer experience and service model changes. Experienced resources who are familiar with worksite and/or voluntary benefits and or insurance product delivery are encouraged to apply. The role will work with senior business leaders to understand their needs and address them through executable strategies and initiatives synchronized with overall technical and product changes. We are looking for someone with strong change management and communication abilities who excels in creatively managing business enablement within complex organizations.

As the Worksite Business Enablement Lead you will play a critical role in ensuring the team can adapt and grow with the changes brought forward through transformational platform changes. This role will be instrumental in ensuring transformational programs and projects will be successfully launched . This role reports to the Worksite Head of Business Process and supports the overall Worksite organization.

The Team

The Worksite Business Process Strategy is charged with delivery of strategically aligned transformational business changes for the organization. The team is made up of project managers, business analysts and product ownership some of which are full time positions and contractors. Additionally, teams can support ongoing enhancements to both product and customer capability enhancements.

The Impact:

  • Drives strategic business enablement across a number of complex business program and projects leading to target state operations and service models.

  • Role will evolve along with the work and execution path tied to major deliverables and releases.

  • Support the development and deployment of business operations, service models and execution standards across the organization.

  • Responsible for developing, executing and influencing strategies to build and increase buy-in and executive/senior leadership support for change.

  • Perform assessments such as stakeholder analysis and impact assessments for key stakeholder groups to drive development of business implementation strategies.

  • Collaborate across program and technical teams to remain integrated with broader efforts.

  • Work to optimize the organizational and operations structures aligned to service models targets and vision for the future.

  • Develop and manage execution of leadership alignment plans to drive buy-in with enablement

  • Plan, develop, and work with leadership and partners to deliver communications and creative engagement activities, driving understanding about key activities through business enablement lifecycle.

  • Regularly report on activity status to program leadership; work with leadership to escalate and resolve risks and issues

  • Proactively engage leadership with appropriate communications, problem solving, and goal setting.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries.

  • Drive team to effective decision making when needed, depicting multiple options for how to progress.

  • Listen and effectively communicate with clarity, precision, and transparency

The Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years managing and driving the execution of complex projects

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of program experience

  • 8+ Strategy execution

  • Proven experience partnering to lead business enablement efforts

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skills with cross-functional teams

  • Skilled in applying judgment to balance process compliance with achievement of business objectives

  • Experience in/working in partnership with project teams

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Significant change, strategy or insurance industry background

  • Experience with Worksite or Voluntary Benefits products and platforms

  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly organized and collaborative individual

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, capable of establishing and growing functions and teams from the ground up

  • An action-oriented, driven, entrepreneurial mindset

Salary Range: $156,000.00-$204,700.00 Apply
