Marketing Specialist, Retirement Products Marketing Strategy
(Full-Time, Boston or Springfield Office (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
As a Marketing Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert for omni-channel marketing campaign development and execution, and content creation for investments, wealth management and other MassMutual products. You will be instrumental in the thought leadership and creation of marketing content including sales concepts and collateral, competitive positioning, and more. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, project management, and creative writing experience, and the ability to build relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders. You will have immediate impact and the opportunity to interface with marketers, product experts, and sales throughout the organization.
The Team
This role is part of the Product Marketing Strategy group that is responsible for crafting clear and compelling stories, and comprehensive omni-channel marketing campaigns to drive revenue and assets under management by increasing financial professional and client engagement. We are a highly collaborative team that supports marketing needs across all MassMutual product lines and distribution channels. We work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on attention-to-detail, agility and follow-through. The Impact:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Development of key content and materials, marketing collateral development and operations, along with an understanding of material distribution processes, such as print, web, and email focusing on investments and wealth management initiatives.
Product launches and promotion, and sales enablement materials will make up the body of work. This work will include partnering with creative, media, sales, and project management to create impactful marketing content.
Manage quarterly performance updates to our investment content for our products.
Partner with the investment team to deploy market analysis including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Understanding sales process of B2B traditional marketing funnel activities across various mediums.
The Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
3+ years of marketing experience
Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA
The Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3+ Years of experience Financial Services Marketing Products to advisors and consumers
Ability work in a cross functional team and provide clear and concise content that drives engagement from those using our content.
Great project management skills with the ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements
Omni-channel marketing campaign development for B2B and B2C audiences
Proven written communication skills, with demonstrated creative content development
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype, SharePoint, Box and Outlook

Salary Range:
$74,300.00-$97,500.00At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees. Your total compensation package includes either a bonus target or in a sales-focused role a Variable Incentive Compensation component.
