The Opportunity
We're looking to hire a National Sales Product Consultant to join our MMFA National Sales team. In this position, you will be a product expert focusing on product ideas and concepts while partnering with your Regional Director and Firm Specialists to design programs to support product knowledge, sales opportunities, and growth in your region. Additionally, you'll be charged with sharing best practices and key tools to uncover opportunities, grow your book of business, and support balanced practices.
The Team
We partner with our Firm Product Specialists to provide unparalleled expertise, guidance, advice and solutions to MMFA firms, their advisors and brokerage partners, in planning for their clients’ financial future. We empower our advisors to grow balanced practices by collaborating with credentialed and experienced experts that address broad financial solutions.
The Impact
Proactively partner with your Regional Director and Firm Product Specialists to increase product knowledge and sales growth in your region. Develop and execute customized firm plans to support this strategy.
Be the key point of contact to your Firm Product Specialists. Available to support advisors within your regions. Providing timely, accurate and professional sales support including product information, sales concepts, practice management and other resources.
As part of your practice management role, you may be asked to facilitate study groups, educational meetings and/or present at product focused events.
Proficient with and effectively utilize and educate on our suite of sales tools.
Work as a contributing team member to assist in achieving the sales goals of Sales and Distribution and provide backup to the other members of the team when needed. Ability over time to cross-train on all product lines: Disability; Life Insurance and Annuities and use that knowledge to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Work with supporting/processing areas/operations to address any issues that would impact the ability of a submitted case to be “reported” in a timely manner, respectful of procedures.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma and 2+ years of financial services/insurance experience
- 1+ year of customer service or sales experience
- Must obtain FINRA SIE & Series 6 within 180 days of hire
- Must obtain FINRA Series 63 and State Life & Health License within 12 months of hire
The Ideal Qualifications
1+ years of sales support
1+ years of practice management experience
1+ year experience in the Financial Services/ Insurance Industry where you can demonstrate a clear understanding of the marketplace that applies to the products being sold
FINRA SIE and/or Series 6 and Series 63 at time of application
In-depth Insurance Product Knowledge
Ability to influence others
Proven track record of working others, team player
Ability to think creatively and outside of the box, focused on sales execution, utilizing products and solutions
Salary Range
$50K-$55K base range plus sales-based incentive opportunity resulting in a total target compensation package of $70K-$75K
