The Opportunity

The Sales Support Consultant plays a critical role in supporting the creation and execution of high-quality financial plans. By managing data entry, coordinating workflows, and ensuring accuracy across various planning software platforms, the Sales Support Consultant serves as a key connection between advisors and consultants. This role will also contribute to advisor onboarding, process improvement, and creating financial planning deliverables that support more profitable and effective client outcomes.

The Team

As the needs of advisors and clients change and demand more wealth management and planning products and services, MM Wealth Management has greater needs to thoughtfully and effectively engage with our Field partners to promote new and existing capabilities, products, and services, and swiftly execute key initiatives that will positively impact advisors and clients resulting in growth. As a member of the Wealth Management organization, you will join our team of passionate experts across multiple disciplines including Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments and Operations.

The Impact

The Sales Support Consultant will work proactively with the field and business partners alike, in driving plan input, creating scenarios, stress testing, and developing client Strengths, Opportunities and making any initial observations.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Client data entry to various planning software including but not limited to eMoney, Right Capital, and Money Guide Elite.

  • Assist team members with basic to intermediate plan analysis, plan design, and development of client strategy to meet client goals.

  • Help manage workflow between advisors/planners and case consultants to ensure timely delivery of plans. Provide a bridge for smooth communication between planners and consultants.

  • Prepare correspondence and track financial plan progress and communicate where needed.

  • Proactively follow-up with advisors to ensure that they are efficiently moving through the planning process and following up on annual plan renewals. This includes resolving NIGO (Not-in-Good-Order) issues.

  • Research new work-flow solutions that may be relevant in use with software or the financial planning process and make recommendations.

  • Creates, designs and organizes presentation material for other team members.

  • Work closely and effectively with consultants to keep them and others on the team informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and handle as appropriate.

  • Ensure an ease of doing business for all CCU Advisors through proactive support and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Focus on helping advisors run more efficient and profitable planning practices.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 1+ years’ experience in financial services industry

  • 1+ years' experience working with/supporting agencies or advisors

  • Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA

The Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 & 63 at time of application or willingness to obtain

  • Experience with eMoney or other financial planning Software

  • Prior experience as a Paraplanner

  • CFP® or progress towards CFP® designation

  • Communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to express ideas and share information with coworkers, advisors in an accurate manner.

  • Experience with eMoney or other financial planning software.

  • Strong technological proficiency, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other digital platforms, including a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.

  • Robust research skills with the ability to independently locate, interpret, and apply new information quickly and accurately.

  • A team-oriented individual who thrives on collaboration and actively engages in networking to foster a supportive and connected work environment.

  • Organizational and interpersonal skills including flexibility, thoroughness, accuracy and care in handling detail

Salary Range:

$67,400.00-$88,400.00
