As Head of Private Wealth Consulting, you’ll lead a team of elite consultants who specialize in case design and advanced planning strategies. Your mission: help advisors win and retain complex HNW relationships by delivering integrated investment, estate, and trust solutions with precision, care, and impact.
This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Private Wealth Partners. You’ll shape strategy, elevate advisor experiences, and serve as a key architect of how we grow and serve our most sophisticated clients.
Private Wealth Partners now manages over $9 billion in assets and is growing rapidly. This is a pivotal moment to join a dynamic, fast-scaling organization that’s redefining the future of wealth management.

The Impact:
Lead a high-performing team of Private Wealth Consultants focused on case design, proposal generation, and onboarding for complex HNW opportunities.
Partner directly with advisors to help them win business — providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and differentiated solutions.
Design and deliver compelling, customized strategies that integrate investment management, estate planning, trust services, and tax-aware structures.
Serve as a thought leader and internal advocate for the Private Wealth Partners value proposition — helping shape product, marketing, and advisor engagement strategies.
Collaborate across functions (investment, fiduciary, operations, strategy) to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client experiences.
Track and optimize performance using data-driven management tools and KPIs to drive growth, efficiency, and advisor satisfaction.
The Minimum Qualifications
10 years of experience in wealth management, with deep expertise in the HNW segment.
Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
Strong technical knowledge across investment, estate, trust, and tax planning.
A consultative, collaborative mindset with a passion for helping advisors succeed.
Exceptional communication skills — able to simplify complexity and inspire confidence.
Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
The Ideal Qualifications
CTFA, CFP®, CFA, JD or similar advanced designation.

Salary Range:
$189,900.00-$249,200.00At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees. Your total compensation package includes either a bonus target or in a sales-focused role a Variable Incentive Compensation component.
