The Opportunity
The Advisor Recruiting Enablement Consultant is a key member of the MMFA Recruiting Team, focused on supporting day-to-day recruiter and field leader effectiveness through practical training, tools, and learning resources. This role is responsible for maintaining and delivering clear, consistent, and easy-to-use enablement materials that help recruiters execute efficiently and provide a strong advisor experience.
This position plays a hands-on role in supporting current recruiting efforts by coordinating learning activities, maintaining content, responding to field needs, and ensuring recruiters and leaders have timely access to the right tools, messaging, and guidance. The Advisor Recruiting Enablement Consultant partners closely with recruiters and internal stakeholders to keep training materials relevant, organized, and aligned to evolving business needs.
The Team
The MassMutual Financial Advisors (MMFA) Recruiting Team supports growth across the MMFA system by attracting high-quality advisors and enabling field recruiting teams to operate effectively. As the Learning and Performance Consultant, you will work closely with MMFA Home Office recruiters, field leaders, and internal partners to support recruiting operations through well-organized training materials, consistent tools, and responsive learning support.
The Impact
In this role, you will support recruiter and field leader success by maintaining and improving practical learning resources and recruiting tools that can be readily applied in day-to-day recruiting activities.
Key responsibilities but not limited to:
Training, Enablement & Performance Support
Coordinate onboarding and ongoing learning support for MMFA recruiters and field leaders.
Maintain practical recruiting tools such as interview guides, talk tracks, candidate messaging templates, and objection-handling resources.
Update and maintain recruiter enablement decks and standardized recruiting materials used across the field.
Support data review and assist with streamlining case design or training-related processes as needed.
Content Management & Learning Support
Maintain a centralized, organized content library with current, compliant, and field-ready recruiting materials.
Assist with updating learning content related to advisor compensation, transition support, and platform information, ensuring materials are clear and easy to understand.
Apply basic instructional design principles to ensure content is straightforward, accessible, and usable for different audiences.
Insights & Continuous Improvement
Gather feedback from recruiters and field leaders to identify gaps, issues, or improvement opportunities in training and tools.
Track usage and effectiveness of learning materials and recommend updates based on feedback and observed needs.
Escalate recurring issues, risks, or content gaps to leadership as appropriate.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
Partner closely with MMFA recruiters, field leaders, and internal teams to respond to learning and enablement needs.
Ensure materials remain aligned with Legal, Compliance, and Brand requirements. Provide reporting, updates, and administrative support to leadership related to learning initiatives and enablement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of experience supporting training, learning, enablement, or performance support activities
3+ years’ experience creating, updating, or maintaining learning or enablement materials (e.g., decks, guides, job aids, templates, playbooks, or toolkits) used by internal stakeholders.
3+ years’ experience using Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) for content creation, collaboration and data analytics.
2+ years’ experience working with/ supporting / being exposed to financial advisors or agencies
Ideal Qualifications
Experience as a financial service’s financial services recruiter
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with experience operationalizing governance and stakeholder reporting
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with experience translating complex or technical information into clear, easy-to-use content.
Demonstrated ability to gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to update learning materials or tools (e.g., surveys, informal feedback, usage data).
Knowledge of wealth management, insurance products and career distribution
Experience managing stakeholder facing platforms and/or data management tools
Strong financial acumen
2+ years' experience organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, updates, and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Salary Range:
$84,100-$110,300At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees. Your total compensation package includes either a bonus target or in a sales-focused role a Variable Incentive Compensation component.
