The Worksite Insurance business is growing as we aim to reach middle class workers in support of the company’s vision to provide financial

well-being to all Americans. Worksite has achieved success in recent years distributing our Group Voluntary and Executive products through

our multi-channel distribution relationships. To further this success, we must continue to evolve our strategy to reach more advisors and

customers, while providing them an enhanced self-service, digital experience to allow us to aggressively grow top line sales.

The Impact

The Project Manager will be responsible for medium to large projects and/or segments of larger, more complex programs through the entire

project development life cycle. Projects may cross divisions and impact various lines of business. The Project Manager will work closely with

sponsors and Systems counterparts to define the project scope, develop the project plan, and manage the project budget. They will be

responsible for the execution of project tasks, mitigation of project risks, resolution of issues and management of resources to successfully

meet project goals and deliverables. They will lead a team of subject matter experts, analysts and other participants to ensure successful

project execution in accordance with best practices and standards. The Project Manager provides project updates and communicates

effectively to project sponsors and stakeholders. They provide coaching and performance feedback for project team members. Lead the

project team and various partners in defining scope, planning, budgeting and control all project tasks, resources, and deliverables.

Accountable for monitoring project progress and ensuring timely, cost effective and high-quality execution of project including

budget, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.

• Lead project team to develop/refine integrated plans and execute cross-functional implementations via an agile delivery model.

This includes requirements gathering and analysis, design, build, pilot, implementation, and continuous service.

• Ensure that all project team members understand the project goals and objectives, their roles and responsibilities, and the

current project plan and schedule, critical path activities and activities that may become critical path activities

Oversee outcomes and project plans of support partners and partners (internal and external) to ensure alignment between

project strategy and tactical execution

• Provide a continuously updated and balanced appraisal of the project status, including risk, cost, and value to stakeholders

Implement a strong change management/readiness approach that incorporates support from functional partners like

communication, training, mkt and technology creating an integrated plan ensuring successful deployment.

• Responsible for alignment of functional plans with approved project plans and ensuring high quality execution

• Proactively identify issues while resolving conflicts and communicating project-related issues to senior executive management

• Develop and partner with team on an overall communication strategy, as well as the field strategy and broad internal/external

communications

• Lead broad scope projects that have medium to long-term focus of varying duration, size, and complexity

• Drive lessons learned and knowledge retention for future use

• Monitor program and project risk, communicate, and mitigate by driving contingency plans

The Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, or in lieu of a degree, a HS Diploma and 10+ years of project management experience.

• 8+ years managing and driving the execution of complex, cross functional, strategic based project experience

The Ideal Qualifications

• Worksite or Group Carrier Experience

• PMP certifications

• Strong business acumen with understanding of business model and supporting business processes.

• Ability to operate in both agile and waterfall project environments

• Ability to understand and support overall project goals and resolve and remove obstacles to the project’s completion

• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

• A strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to impact and influence senior leaders/peers and vendor relationships

• Ability to communicate with all level of employees in a professional manner

Salary Range:

$124,800-$163,800
