Who we are looking for
Candidate required for Transformation Initiatives linked to GD Simplification. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate who is a Loans SME to fill the role of Product Owner for our Loan HQ team to engage and interact with our Loan Servicing teams and IT support teams on increasing the automation of our loan product as well as supporting the deployment of the Loan HQ Dashboards to the business.
End state goal of Loan HQ is to replace all manual and offline manual processes for loans and create a Loan HQ dashboard which will embody all processes relating to loans and their servicing.

What you will be responsible for
As a Product Owner you will
- Lead design discussions on the Loans product with the business at State Street, our clients, vendors and IT
- Responsible for helping to drive execution for key milestones across the various workstream in a timely and cost-effective manner. Being responsible for the next gen design of innovative solutions for our Loan HQ platform
- Be the subject matter expert for multiple technology-business functions relating to Loans or draft in SME expertise as and when required
- Collaborate with business analysts and business users to gather requirements and write stories in Agile to guide the milestones towards the target end state
- Work with business analysts and developer team to refine requirements and generate Acceptance Criteria for stories
- Plan out with QA and business teams UAT and BUAT testing (respectively)
- Collaborate with business teams and developers to plan PROD installation
- Communicate progress and timelines to senior management as needed
- Be accountable for milestone delivery dates

- Strong critical thinking needed
- Knowledge of or work experience processing Activity on Loan Applications E.G WSO
- Knowledge of "how" service providers and investment manager clients work together in the loan ecosystem
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
- Ability to Navigate SSB architecture and structure related to IT deployment projects
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics related fields.
- 5 years’ experience in systems migrations related projects
- 10+years' experience working with the loan product

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $167,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
