Sr associate role to manage tax engagements and support the tax annual tax compliance effort between our clients and our Big 4 outsourced tax advisor. Manage tax deliverable production calendar, support information requests, act as a liaison with other parts of the organization as needed.
: Candidates should have experience and familiarity with tax allocations for partnership structures, i.e., Hedge funds and Private equity funds. The objective is to work with our outsourced Big 4 tax provider to service our clients tax compliance reporting needs by providing support with the various applicable area’s n the organization.

What you will be responsible for
As Sr Associate -Alternative Investment Solutions- Tax
You will:
Job requires familiarity with Hedge fund and Private equity funds tax compliance process.
Manage tax engagement workflow for State Street clients and our outsourced tax services provider.
Participate in the oversight process of the outsourcing provider and escalate issues to management if any arise.
Participate in tax engagement planning, cycle production meetings.
Manage documentation requests and act as liaison between the tax firm, client for information needs within the organization.
Manage client deliverables with an emphasis on data security and timeliness.
Intake client tax questions and liaise with appropriate parties to resolve questions.

Experience participating and or managing tax engagements for Hedge and Private Equity funds
Technical tax knowledge of Alternative Investments
Education & Preferred Qualifications
College degree concentration tax of accounting preferred.
3 to 5 years Industry experience CPA firm or administrator

Salary Range:
$52,000 - $75,400 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
