We are looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is excited to design strategies and tactics to build awareness about how our products and solutions can help our clients and partners. This person will sit within the Global Marketing team and supports the development and execution of marketing and communication activities for State Street’s Consultant Relations team.
This is a pivotal role – bringing a ‘One State Street’ approach to consultants, to better drive impact. This role works to not only strengthen our brand, build awareness, and drive sales opportunities globally, but also must develop a marketing strategy focused on arming consultants with the tools and information they need to position State Street as a leader in the industry. This leader will be developing and leveraging marketing tactics (virtual and in person events, campaigns, thought leadership, etc.) to bring State Street to the forefront for consultants across North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
As a successful candidate, you’ll partner closely with the Managing Director, Global Marketing to help define the objectives of marketing activities and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

What you will be responsible for
As Marketing Manager - Consultant Relations, AVP you will
- Regularly communicates the most recent Global Marketing updates to the Global Consultant Relations team
- Acts as the primary interface between marketing teams and ensure that the appropriate work from our other Marketing leads is represented in a way that is consumable for our consulting partners.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, accruals and recommend changes where necessary
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with the coverage and regional teams, vital to the success of the campaign / project

- Work with the wider marketing team members and business unit, sales and coverage teams to assist in defining marketing objectives and a comprehensive, combined marketing strategy
- Directly responsible for ensuring those plans are executed on by the team within specified timeframes
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 7-9 years relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a financial services organization
- A degree-level education
- Excellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of communications best practices
- Experience managing marketing projects: online communications, events, brand/advertising, editorial, partnerships/sponsorships. This entails a good understanding of all marketing channels, including interactive and social media
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content that is interesting and relevant
- Working in matrix structures and cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally
- Ensuring that the highest level of the integrity and ethical behavior is continuously adhered to
- Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zones

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
